El Segundo Car Show

Every year, the El Segundo Police Association sponsors the Main Street El Segundo Car Show. This car show is quite a spectacle with hundreds of antique and unusual cars as well as hot rods. I don't go to too many car shows, but this one is very entertaining. The show which is in El Segundo by the sea and takes place on Main Street from El Segundo Boulevard to Mariposa Avenue. It is open to the public and is free.

All the cars seemed to have their hoods up. I am assuming the car aficionados want to check out what's under the hood with most cars featuring chrome engine parts with a big air filter. However, I wanted to appreciate the beautiful lines of the cars as they were originally designed. Car owners were happy to lower their hoods so I could get a nice picture of the cars.
